Prof. Yen-hung Lin
Clinical Professor and Attending Physician, Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taiwan

Dr. Yen-Hung Lin received his Doctor of Medicine degree in School of Medicine, National Taiwan University and his Master of Medical Science degree in Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, School of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 1999 and 2005, respectively. Then he received his PhD degree in Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, School of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 2011. He received full course of residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology in National Taiwan University Hospital since 1999 to 2004. He is presently an Attending Physician in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Internal Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital, and a Clinical Professor in Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, National Taiwan University. Clinically, He is an active interventional cardiologist and organizes / participates many international conferences.

He is the co-founder of TAIPAI (Taiwan Primary Aldosteronism Investigation) research group, and leads the cardiovascular research team in the group. His research interests focus on 1) Cardiac and vascular function and structure change in primary aldosteronism; 2) Translational research of aldosterone-induced cardiac and vascular fibrosis/ dysfunction; 3) Biomarkers in various cardiovascular disease, including heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, and coronary artery disease; 4) Non-linear analysis of heart rhythm in various medical conditions; 5) Pulmonary Hypertension, mainly focus on CTEPH; 6) Telemedicine.

Dr. Lin received several awards, including the Young Investigator Award of the Taiwan Society of Cardiology in 2013, and Annual Award of Best Paper of Taiwan Society of atherosclerosis and vascular disease in 2006, 2007, and 2013-2015. In 2017, he received Noon-Ting Memorial Award (Distinguish Research Award) of Taiwan Society of Cardiology. He is currently the editor of Medicine, Journal of Medical Ultrasound, and Acta Cardiologica Sinica. He also has published more than 200 journal and conference papers.
