Dr. Joseph YS Chan

Dr. Joseph Chan is now the department head of Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as the Honorary Assistant Clinical Professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

His expertise in Electrophysiology and Heart Failure are undoubted. He is also the 1st Micra implanter and decision maker of the purchase of the 1st CardioInsight in Hong Kong. Every year, there are many local and overseas physicians participating in the HIS Bundle Pacing / Micra workshops at PWH that are instructed by Dr. Chan. PWH serves as a CIED training center in HK. He is also an active speaker for international and local cardiology conferences.

Dr. Chan got his medical degree M.B.B.S.at University of Hong Kong in 1992 and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (U.S.A.) in 1994. He also obtained the Master degree on Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010.
