Dr. Danny HF Chow

Dr. Chow Hoi Fan Danny is consultant cardiologist at St. Paul’s Hospital. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Hong Kong in 2005, underwent training at Princess Margaret Hospital and obtained his cardiology and advanced internal medicine fellowships from Hong Kong College of Physician in 2012 and 2013 respectively. His main interest is complex percutaneous coronary intervention and further obtained the Hong Kong Heart Foundation Fellowship Program for overseas training in structural heart intervention in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2016 and Cardiovascular CT experience program Level 2 at Amery Medical Center, UCLA in 2017.

Dr.Chow was a Council Member of Hong Kong Public Hospital Cardiologist Association, He is currently an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor for Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chow’s current research interests focus on atrial fibrillation, transcatheter aortic valve replacement and percutaneous left atrial appendage closure. He has published 14 peer-reviewed articles in international journals such as JACC, Structural heart and Heart Rhythm. He is the Principal Investigator for Gloria-AF registry and RE-DUAL PCI study, and Co-Investigator for REDUCE trail.
