Dr. Mingguo Xu is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with an expertise in pediatric cardiovascular diseases. He is a doctoral supervisor at China Medical University, Shen Yang, China. Dr. Xu earned his medical degree from Medical College of Zhengzhou University, He Nan province. And his Ph.D is obtained from Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his postdoctoral study at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Xu served for 13 years in Shenzhen Children’s Hospital as a pediatric cardiologist and has performed over 1,000 cardiovascular interventional operations. His contributions also include researches and treatment of Kawasaki disease and he has received several awards for his accomplishments, including the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, the Young Investigator Award at the 12th International Kawasaki Disease Symposium, 2018 Jiang Su Science and Technology Award and 2018 Jiang Su Medical Technology Award.
